I’m so excited to finally offer the Facial Sculpting + Lifting Massage to my clients! The massage focuses on facial muscles on the face and inside the mouth (intraoral massage – an element of Buccal massage). The massage works on a deeper level as it not only firms, lifts, and sculpts the face, but also releases deep patterns of emotional and physical tension.
What’s so unique about this treatment is that I can access the cheeks and jaw area — not only from outside, but also from inside (your mouth). This service is a deep tissue massage to release tension, improve circulation, and, of course, promote youthful looking skin. It is particularly helpful at targeting skin issues near your mouth, like nasolabial folds (laugh lines) and jowls.
✓ Improved or prevented TMJ (temporomandibular joint) conditions
✓ Softening of facial lines
✓ Recovered muscle tone
✓ Reduced puffiness
✓ Enhanced cheek and jaw definition
Praised as “the ultimate facelift alternative” without going under the knife, the Facial Sculpting + Lifting Massage massage is the most non-invasive anti-ageing tool and it’s the elements of Buccal massage that make it so effective.
The term “Buccal” (derived from the Latin word ‘bucca’, for ‘cheek) is just as exotic as the technique, which involves massaging muscles deep inside the cheek and jaw area to release tension, improve circulation, and – of course – promote youthful-looking skin. Both preventative and corrective, buccal massage (pronounced “buckle”) is a highly specialized treatment that blends (1) facial sculpting massage and (2) intraoral (inside the mouth) massage. The “secret ingredient” of this advanced and innovative treatment is deep pressure points & lymphatic-based massage movements. Buccal massage stimulates a deep release of tightness in facial muscles, as well as relaxation of surface tension.
*Elements of lymphatic drainage are included in each Buccal Massage treatment, as well as décolleté, shoulders, scalp and neck massage.
*Regular treatments are recommended to maintain the results long-term.
I begin the Buccal Facial Massage by checking the face for any areas of tension and finding the trigger points. Then, I’ll cleanse the skin and massage a special mask into the skin to warm up the muscles. In addition, I will do some shoulder and neck massage to release tension in those areas and allow the lymph fluids to flow more freely.
Then I move up to the face, do a set of sculpting and lifting movements, and then I start the Buccal part by massaging your face from the inside of the mouth. Deep massage movements and lymphatic drainage are involved during this stage.
I finish by cleansing the skin again to remove any toxins that were released during the procedure and apply a personalized cocktail of the serums to your skin as this is the perfect skin state for maximum product absorption.
You’ll begin to notice a lit-from-within glow to your skin, your cheeks looking smoother and more contoured, plumped-up skin, and a less tight jaw.
